Meet Cindy, A Greyhound Who Could Use Your Help
Cindy is a sweet and loving seven year old greyhound currently in a foster home through Greyhound Friends. She arrived recently at Greyhound Friends from a family who was not able to take proper care of her. She arrived in poor condition – emaciated, with sores, and filled with worms. Although she was not originally adopted out to the family through Greyhound Friends (there was no adoption group involved), Greyhound Friends has taken her in and is working with veterinary assistance to help get Cindy back to good health. We expect it will take some time and some good medical care to do this.
Thankfully, situations like this are definitely the exception. In the experience of Greyhound Friends, most people who have greyhounds, no matter who they got them from, do take very good care of their pets.
